Too Close to Home plot

The time has come for Nick (Rick Schroder) to leave his childhood home and find a place of his own. His mother Diana (Judith Light) thinks otherwise and does everything possible to prevent his son from picking up his bags. The murder of his girlfriend is also not too far for her. A lawsuit follows in which Nick, fully convinced of her innocence, represents his mother as a lawyer.
