This mid-1960s film revolves around LSD and its impact. It marks the beginning of the hippie movement and counterculture. LSD was the newest thing at the time. This results in a somewhat slow-moving film that, on the plus side, provides a glimpse into the Greenwich community in NYC. It also features some groovy LSD trip scenes, unfortunately in B&W, like the rest of the film. The story is simple and broadly based, even though the film is only 75 meters long. The soundtrack is jazz, which also aligns with the Beat movement and its interests.

Fun fact: In preparation for this film, director Durston took LSD trips under doctor's supervision to figure things out for himself and incorporate them into the film.

For its time, this film must have been daring and it was quite successful (the investment was recouped three times over).
