Just good and solid.

Nothing runs smoothly. The shaky balance in his double life (undercover and family) and the crime also make it interesting. As far as I'm concerned, this moves away from a one-dimensional biography.

Cranston was already top in the series Breaking Bad. This is what he does about it.

A movie worth watching.

I've seen a lot of movies about drugs, undercover operations and mafia, the three topics that best sum up this movie.

This movie isn't a movie you'll remember a few years from now, but one that's above average.

This is mainly due to the excellent role that Cranston plays. There is enough to be said about his opponents, with the exception of the excellent Diana Kruger, but Cranston is the absolute star of the film.

Since this undercover operation lasted about two years, the writers and director had to make choices to convey it as completely as possible. It is understandable that it is all fairly superficial, but I had the idea that I sometimes missed some steps.

All in all, this has become an exciting crime film that flies by despite the long running time.

Ample!

Perhaps most interestingly, the aha experience that the scriptwriters of the hit series 'Undercover' have almost completely copied their season finale from this film. 'The Infiltrator' (2016) is a slick crime film by all means, setting the mood of Florida in the 1980s and it contains some excellent action scenes. But as a whole, there is no avoiding the shortcoming of many biopics, that a more complicated history is reduced to a simple good and evil. Also just disappointing that a character actor like Bryan Cranston plays something around the international drug trade again, but then he remains a good shadow of his iconic Walter White. In all honesty, I have to say that Ferry Bouman's stab in the back touched me more than the climax of this film. Despite all the visual fuss, 'The Infiltrator' (2016) evokes little sympathy for Pablo Escobar's henchmen. It would have helped if the traitor had evoked more of the pathos of a Greek drama in their midst.
