"Every gift has a price"
AB and his best friends Gimba, Gif and Shorty grow up in the poor gang world of the Cape Plain in the 1960s. They decide to start their own gang and commit a number of minor crimes. AB and Gimba are arrested by the police during a burglary and sentenced to two years in prison. AB is released after two years and reconnects with his ex-girlfriend Jenny.
