Murder in Villa Capri plot

Police Lieutenant Roberti is ordered by his superior, Captain Brady, to go undercover to track down a group of mobsters who are terrorizing the city. The mobsters want to take control of the lottery in the 'Little Italy' neighborhood. Jeany, Roberti's daughter, is murdered by the mobsters, after which his wife Lola leaves him. Roberti, however, persists in his order to round up the gang, and he hopes Lola will reunite with him.
