Meiji Kyokyakuden - Sandaime Shumei plot
In early twentieth-century Osaka, Asajiro, as executive director of the Kiyatatsu organization known to be criminal, tries to conduct fair trade without violence. However, the organization is opposed by the clan of Hoshino and Karasawa, who want to establish a monopoly on trade with construction company Nomura. In addition, Asajiro becomes involved in an affair with the geisha Hatsue, who previously belonged to Karasawa. How long can Asajiro hold on to his noble pursuit?
