Andy McCaine is a brash radio personality who regularly makes headlines and goes after the corrupt city authorities. This gets him into trouble with his show's sponsor, EE Nichols, who is working with mobster Nicey Ferguson. Nichols pressures Andy's boss to demote him to a children's show.
