Jesse Stone: Night Passage plot
Jesse Stone moves to quiet Massachusetts paradise. Here he is appointed by the city council to become the new chief of police. It soon becomes apparent that Paradise is not nearly as quiet as it seems. On his first day at work, Stone investigates a domestic violence case. This case leads to the discovery of major money laundering schemes involving bank manager Hasty Hathaway. Hasty also happens to be on the same council that Stone accepted. The councilors are now doing everything they can to stop Stone from revealing their dark secrets.
