Affluent Faye Burton suffers from kleptomania. Faye falls into the hands of a gang of professional shoplifters led by Herb Claxton and Ina Perdue. Herb and Ina want to exploit Faye's contacts in the rich milieu. Police officer Jeff Andrews goes incognito to track down the gang and save Faye.
