A good film with twists and turns and an unpredictable outcome. Deserves for example a better rating than the Blood Diamond also seen today. Anyway, Hackman is not a Dicaprio.

Good film in which a professional thief is forced to take on a job by his handler. As the title suggests, this is a heist movie. The plot is well put together and the plot twists fly around your ears and the thefts are well worked out. Good dialogues and a nice cast finish it off.

Saw it for a second (and last) time after a very long time. With a solid cast, a reasonable story is put down. In fact, it's clear from the start who the smart guy is and who will take off with the loot. So the rest is put down ok as stupid. The presence of DeVito certainly contributes to this. The acting is good although some dialogues are pronounced 'over the top'. Heist is quite a well-known film, but when it came out it scored higher for me than it did this second time around.
