"Everyone needs a place to lie."
Louise and Spencer live in the same apartment complex in Notre Dame de Grace, a small quiet neighborhood where a serial killer is now spreading panic. Spencer moved in after his wife was killed in a tragic car accident. Spencer himself ended up in a wheelchair in the accident. He usually stays at home while Louise works as a waitress in a Chinese restaurant. When the shy Victor moves into the building, he is the bright spot for the gruff residents and he befriends Louise and Spencer. But one night, Victor sees someone walking in the courtyard who looks very much like Spencer. Could he be the killer the community so fears?
