The story of William Bonin, a California serial killer. It's December 1979. Dead bodies have been popping up everywhere for a few years now and a serial killer is on the run, according to the paper. In March 1980 he was given the name 'Freeway Killer'. Behind Bonin is a beloved man who is a truck driver by trade. He has only one close friend; Vernon Butt. Together they search the California highways at night, looking for victims (men). The problem, however, is that Bonin can't stop.
