Easy Money plot
Dan Adams resigns as district attorney and sets out to clean up a gang that is causing fake accidents. He gets a job at an insurance company and at the office he meets Carol Carter. She thinks that Dan is employed by the scammers as a lawyer and offers him as little help as possible. Dan visits his brother Eddie, who is involved with the gang, and tries to convince him to leave them. Eddie is combative at first, but eventually agrees, under pressure from Dan and his wife Tonia, to straighten out. The gang, led by 'Duke' Trotti, fear Eddie will talk and want to kill him.
