The fifty-year-old railway official Leon Bisquet lives and works in a provincial town in the north of France, where he only has to check a slow train twice a day. The man has been mistreated, humiliated and kicked since childhood. His head is boiling with rage, but he knows that one day he will be able to take revenge on those around him. When the body of a colored man is found one morning on the side of the railway, this is Leon's big moment. He thinks he knows why the man was killed. Little Leon uses his knowledge to settle the bill. Between him and the investigator, Commissioner Lamotte, an exciting duel ensues...
