Professional magician Michael "The Falcon" Waring is an amateur private detective in his spare time. When a wealthy playboy is murdered, Ramon Delgado gives his confession to The Falcon. Shortly after their conversation, Delgado is found poisoned in his cell. The Falcon, along with Police Lieutenant Hardy, soon finds two suspects: Delgado's wife Margo and the corrupt lawyer Thomas Mallon.
