Detective Story plot

Police Station 21, New York. A few petty criminals are brought in and the agents have also caught a 'big fish'. However, sensationalist reporter Joe Feinson is not satisfied. He is waiting for a big story. That story comes when cop Jim McLeod collides with Dr. schneider. McLeod is a cop who is tough on criminals. dr. Schneider has been performing illegal abortions for years, often with fatal consequences for the 'patients'. When the doctor starts talking, there are some surprises that will even mean death for a few.
