Tokyo is rocked by a series of gruesome murders. The only connection between the murders is an 'X' carved on the necks of the victims. Each time the killer is found close to the victim, but each time they know nothing more about it. A detective and a psychologist investigate the case. In the latest murder, they find a strange young man who seems to have a certain effect on everyone who comes into contact with him...
