Near New York, one of the world's most dangerous cities, is the safest place on earth: Garrison, better known as Cop Land. Cop Land is a nice police film in which corruption naturally plays a major role. In terms of story, it's nothing special and you can map it all out neatly, but because the makers opened a can with special actors, it all remains more than enough. It is especially clever that Stallone manages to hold his own between the acting guns and plays a fine antihero.

Excellent film about a sheriff of a small town where a large part of the New York police live. A good story and also the characters come out well (largely thanks to the cast with only well-known names). This police film with an anti-hero as the main character has the right tone, a pleasant pace and is exciting here and there.
