Codine plot

In a poor village in Romania in 1900, a half-orphaned befriends the good-natured powerhouse Codine, who manages to save him and his mother from a cholera epidemic. A tantrum over his lover's deception with his best friend turns the giant into a murderer, but he emerges from hiding again to take responsibility for his little buddy.
