Reasonable film in which a man suspected of terrorism is assigned two lawyers. An entertaining and interesting plot. However, it all goes a bit too fast and the characters are clichéd, making it a bit predictable. It's easy to look at, also because of the fine cast.

So... They wouldn't have been happy with that at MI5 (or MI6). In the US, the public is used to occasionally being presented with the CIA as bad guys. This movie seemed pretty new to me. Not unreasonable movie. Rebecca Hall in particular did very well. Bana seemed more concerned with putting down a decent British accent (the best man is an Aussie). Back to the movies. Premise not inconceivable ('a major fuckup' by British intelligence), but it was more used to tell an exciting conspiracy-like story. In other words, not very realistic. I have so much faith in Western governments that such a mistake will be charged internally, rather than witnesses being eliminated. Although I am convinced (on the other hand) that with MH17 Dutch services have been sleeping.

Pretty exciting and oppressive film in which I'm actually still surprised that Bana and Hall manage to get away without physical damage in the end. Too bad about that one chase in the street, maybe it would have been even scarier if the "evil" had remained faceless, but as the film is now there is also enough left to chew on. Wonderful role by the friendly Jim Broadbent.
