Chu Tai Chiu Fung plot
Hong Kong, just before the transfer of Britain to China in 1997. Three notorious criminals from the mainland are drawn to the possibilities of the city's booming economy and decide to cross the border to amass a fortune. They don't know each other, but their notoriety has spread the rumor that the three of them will team up to pull off a massive heist together. When they get wind of this themselves, they find it irresistible to do just that.
