The young hotelier Leutner has a transmitter in his betrothed Maria's hotel room for study purposes. Coincidentally, this gives him the opportunity to overhear that a gang of counterfeiters at a quarter past twelve (0:15) in room 9 wants to get rid of an untrustworthy guard.
