Gaston, a young soldier, corresponds with Yvonne, a young employee he has never seen. He sent the girl a picture of his friend Jacques, who he thought was more beautiful than his. For her part, Yvonne has done the same with the portrait of her friend Huguette. While on leave, the two soldiers go to Paris, where the two young women live. The innocent deception will drag them into a series of misunderstandings in love...
