V Boy Idut Odni Stariki plot

During World War II, Bogdan Titarenko (Leonid Bykov) is a fighter pilot for the Soviet Union. He also has a music group with fellow pilots that he performs with. These friends of Bogdan come from all over the country but have all become brothers to each other. He also takes care of some new cadets who are being trained as pilots and with whom the older pilots have to fight against fascist Germany. The story is about their relationships, their dreams, their faith, sacrifice, the tears, life and death, and their affairs with the beautiful female pilots.
