Une Année Difficile plot
Albert and Bruno are up to their necks in debt, but that doesn't stop them from still buying a lot. They make money by cheating people. They meet young rebel activists who, among other things, are committed to the climate. Albert and Bruno are not so much attracted to their ideologies as to the free drinks and snacks they are offered. They do integrate into the group to use every situation to their advantage and to scam the members.

A film that starts and ends with 'La Valse À Mille Temps' can never be completely bad, or so I thought until I finished this tasteless comedy. Albert [Pio Marmaï] and Bruno [Jonathan Cohen] are deeply in debt for different reasons. They decide to join a group of environmental activists who specialize in blockades and occupations so that they can take the opportunity to get rid of their debts. A ridiculous gift incorporated into a scenario that downplays complex problems such as gambling addiction, depression and medication addiction and also gives a big middle finger to environmental activism. The romcom-esque final scene makes no sense at all. From the makers of Intouchables, of all places!
