Una di Quelle plot
Maria, a young widow, prostitutes herself to help her downtrodden family. Rocco Bardelli, a farmer from the countryside, is passing through Rome and looking for an adventure. Rocco gets in touch with her and she takes him home. There she discovers that her son has a severe fever. Turns out the kid has diphtheria. Rocco decides to help her.
