Un Eroe dei Nostri Tempi plot
Alberto Menichetti lives with his aunt and her housekeeper Clotilde. He has a job in a factory as an assistant to Mrs. De Ritis, a widow whose husband was killed hunting wild boars. She is fond of Alberto, but he falls for young Marcella again and waits until she is old enough for him to declare his love to her. Alberto's strengths are his fear of everything and his selfishness. These traits soon get him into trouble.
