Uit Hetzelfde Nest plot

Jef Dijckman's import and export business is gradually declining. This is largely due to Jef's gruff, self-righteous nature. The resemblance to his twin brother Frans, the village doctor, is very striking outwardly, but inside there are major differences. Frans is always in a good mood and has many friends. One day, Jef concludes a contract that brings him even deeper into the pit. At a café, Jef's letter bag is accidentally mixed up with that of his brother Frans. When the latter falls dead on the street, the police arrive on the spot to determine the death of one Jef Dijckman. With the money from the life insurance, Jef thinks he can get his business back on track. After a few days, Jef will reappear and declare that it is all a mistake. Will Jeff succeed in his aim?
