Turf plot
This is the story of four gamblers who regularly pass by the Paris betting office Le Balto. The Greek (an osteopath), Fifi (who lives with his mother), Fortuné (an Antillean) and Freddy (the heavy gambler) have had enough of losing what little they have and want to stop the world of equestrian sports call out... Fate puts them in touch with a true gambling legend, who has a formidable reputation on all horse racing tracks, with all horse racing enthusiasts and with the police: Mr. Paul. This "gentleman" proposes to the four ex-football players to buy a real "crack" (the best horse in the stable). In reality, the horse turns out to be nothing more than an old tuber.
