Tout pour Plaire plot
Juliette, Florence and Marie are childhood friends. Marie is a doctor in a hospital and has been married for 8 years to Pierre, an honest, loving and funny painter-artist whose only flaw is that he never brings in a single cent. Marie wants to be the perfect woman, but one day she is tired of taking all the responsibility on her shoulders. Florence, a shy editor at a news agency and married to Julien, a tough business executive, is given responsibility for a large budget by her boss. Juliette is a lawyer. She does not manage to be reimbursed by her customers and does not get off the street. These three women met regularly and tell each other's stories without mincing their words. The common thread running through their stories is the finding that, as 35-year-olds, reality has supplanted their dreams.
