La Doublure plot
Billionaire Pierre Levasseur and his mistress and top model Eléna are surprised by a paparazzo. To avoid a bloody divorce, he throws an improbable lie out of his sleeve. He takes advantage of the presence of a passerby, François Pignon, to indicate that Eléna was not out with him but with Pignon. Levasseur is therefore obliged to send Eléna to Pignon and let her live with him in order to make his lie appear credible.

A lighthearted, dryly humorous film about a wealthy businessman who, with the help of a valet, tries to cover his backs to both his wife and his gorgeous mistress. This leads to numerous hilarious situations, which director Veber delves into at breakneck speed. One of the better comedies. Tip: be sure to watch out for the hilarious scenes with the doctor!

I saw it again ten years later. I'd actually forgotten about it. But then again, it's not really a special film. Just a funny comedy that's still quite easy to watch. The ending is actually quite lame, but hey, what does that matter with a film like this?
