Totò e Cleopatra plot
Marc'Antonio, who is engaged in a romance with Cleopatra, is recalled from Alexandria to Rome. Ottavia informs him that he must marry Ottavia's sister Fulvia, after which his romantic escapades will be limited to his lawful wife. His stepbrother Totonno, who resembles him like two drops of water, goes instead to Egypt, where he is sentenced to death by Cleopatra after a stupid mistake. Marc'Antonio, who has fled Rome again, saves his life, but then Ottavia declares war on Egypt.
