Tillie the Toiler plot
Tillie is both her job as a stenographer and her relationship with her boss Mr. Tired of whipple. She finds another colleague, Mac, much more interesting, but Mac can't offer her much economically and Tillie is wildly ambitious in that area. Then she meets the wealthy Pennington Fish and gets engaged to him.
