Dewey is a deputy sheriff in a small town who is ordered by the governor to go undercover. He must pose as a criminal and go to a federal maximum security prison. However, once he is there, it turns out that the governor has died in the meantime. Since no one else knew about Dewey's undercover assignment, he now has a big problem.
