The Lavender Bath Lady plot

The young shop girl Mamie Conroy and the wealthy Jeanette Gregory become good friends. When Mamie foils an attempted kidnapping of Jeanette, the latter's grandfather, Simon Gregory, takes Mamie in and treats her like a member of the family. But she is again involved in a kidnapping attempt and is accused of theft herself.
