The Heavenly Body plot
"There's something new under the moon!"
Astronomer William B. Whitley is very excited about his latest discovery: a comet named after him. Whitley is so busy keeping track of his comet's orbit that he neglects his new wife Vicky. A bored and lonely Vicky visits an astrologer one day, who predicts that she will one day meet a handsome stranger whom she will fall in love with. Vicky, a little surprised at this news, tells her husband William, but he doesn't want to hear about what, in his opinion, is pseudo-scientific information. On the prophesied day, Vicky meets the paratrooper Lloyd X. Hunter and starts talking to him. During the conversation, she begins to realize that he could very well be the man the astrologer predicted.
