"CARAMBA! CYCLONE! FIREWORKS!"

The temperamental Mexican Carmelita Fuentes is a singer and dancer in Mexico City. Boring American advertising executive Dennis 'Denny' Lindsay hires Carmelita to perform at a New York nightclub. Denny is engaged, but secretly has feelings for Carmelita. The casual Carmelita is less subtle and struggles to win Danny's affection. Carmelita can count on the help of Denny's kind and clumsy Uncle Matthew "Matt" Lindsay.
