The Extra Day (1956)

The Extra Day plot

At the end of the last day of shooting, a truck driver from the studio loses the last part of the film. The producer asks his assistant Joe Blake to locate all five additional actors who were involved in the final scene so that they are available the next morning for the new shoot. Visiting each of them in turn makes him take a look at their private lives and confronts him with comic and dramatic situations.
