The Bad Mother's Handbook plot
Karen, a 30-year-old teacher, lives with her daughter Charlotte and mother Nan. Because she had her daughter at a young age, she had to sacrifice a lot. She is delighted when her boss gives her the opportunity to go on a school trip to Paris. But when she's getting her papers in order, she makes a surprising discovery: Nan isn't her real mother. When she can't go to Paris because her teenage daughter gets pregnant and her mother falls, it all becomes too much for her.
