The Amputee plot
Two versions of the same story are told about a woman, with both legs amputated, who writes a letter about the fortunes of her group of acquaintances, while a caretaker deals with her stumps. In the first version of the story, the story in the letter gets muddled and muddled as the caretaker does his job well and effectively. In the second version, the roles are reversed: the letter is now reasonably easy to follow, but the caretaker is rather bumbling in taking care of the stumps.
