Syncopation plot
The dancers Benny and Fleurette are an artist couple and together they form 'Sloane and Darrel'. Both have been successful in a Broadway revue but are now past their prime. They are then signed up at a nightclub and become a sensation there. Rich playboy Winston seduces Fleurette and she is soon dissatisfied with her unsophisticated Benny and his friends at Broadway. Fleurette is divorcing Benny and also gets out of their act. With Winston's help, Fleurette finds a new dance partner, but their performance turns out to be a flop.
