Sumasshedshaya Pomoshch plot
The nice but lazy Jenya comes from a small village in Belarus to the big city Moscow to earn money. A criminal incident separates him from his associates and leaves him alone, without money and without papers. He has no friends or acquaintances in the giant city, so it looks like he will end up as a bum. But then a miracle happens; Jenya is taken to his apartment by a strange old man and allowed to stay here. However, Jenya becomes involved in a strange battle against evil that the old man is a part of.
