Spring in Park Lane plot
Richard is a lackey who is hired by Joshua Howard, an art collector. His niece and secretary, Judy, has her doubts about the new footman and thinks he is really someone else. Richard is therefore not a lackey but Lord Brent, a brother of one of Judy's lovers. He has certain reasons for posing as a lackey and wants to return to America when he has saved enough money. Richard finds himself in a difficult position when he and Judy fall in love.
