Sori no Otto plot
Hiyori is an ornithologist (expert on birds). His wife, Rinko, is the leader of the minority opposition party. One morning, Hiyori is ready to travel to an isolated island for birdwatching on a ten-day trip. Before he leaves, Rinko asks him if he would mind if she became prime minister. Hiyori then goes on his birdwatching tour. During this time, he is completely isolated from the outside world. When he comes home, his wife Rinko is the country's prime minister. She is Japan's first ever female prime minister and Hiyori is suddenly the country's first gentleman. He decides to support his wife, but he finds himself in unexpected circumstances.
