Shoppen plot
Eighteen singles, nine men and nine women, participate in speed dating. An event where people get to know each other within five minutes. A race against time to sell yourself, as it were. Eighteen people who have only one thing in common: finding a partner. The topics of discussion are cappuccino, allergies, consumer behaviour, regular buses, catalytic converters, fruit baskets, good and bad days, nightcaps, designer clothes, loneliness... the list of trite and uninteresting topics is too long to mention. Yet the hope for romance among the singles does not seem to have completely disappeared that day.
