Sest Cerných Dívek aneb Proc Zmizel Zajíc? plot

Detective Boruvka is summoned to the state scientific library to investigate the disappearance of an important manuscript. It concerns the 'Infernal Psalter of the Occult Sciences' written by master Peregrinus in the 11th century in a cipher that had only recently been deciphered by researcher Zajíc. It is chaos in the library and the books are arranged according to height by six ladies in black. Boruvka refuses the case because he specializes in murder cases, but has to return when Zajíc suddenly disappears.
