Schuhpalast Pinkus plot
Sally Pinkus (Ernst Lubtisch) is a German Jewish boy who takes a job as a clerk in a shoe store after being expelled from school. However, he is soon fired here because he is after the daughter of the boss. He soon finds another job at a fancier shoe store, but after he is fired here too, he tries to get a wealthy benefactor to finance his ultimate dream: Pinkus Shoes Palace.
