Rude Awakening plot
"Two hippies came back from 1969 to get the bad news. Nobody wants to save the world anymore. They just want to buy it."
After twenty years of isolation in Central America, a pair of hippies return to civilization in 1989, where they discover that their former friends have completely changed and that money has become very important in the world. Yet their former friends still appear to be willing to propagate the hippie idea, which now appears to have less effect than twenty years earlier.
