Reverse Runner plot

"Life Isn't Always Straight Forward"

Kid Campbell is quite slow, but he dreams of being the fastest. Fortunately, he has found a sport where he thinks he has an advantage: running backwards! After attending a somewhat strange training session with Coach Leroy, Kid thinks he's ready to take on other athletes at the Alternative Athletics Championships. Kid is humiliated during the race by defending champion Steven James and then kicked out of the house for refusing to take a normal job. Kid begins to question his childhood dream. In the end, it's up to Kid to find out that life doesn't always move forward.
