Rendez-vous de Juillet plot
Lucien Bonnard leaves the family home because his family is against him wanting to become a scientist. He joins friends determined to embark on an ethnographic expedition in Africa. His girlfriend Christine Courcel, a drama school student, is willing to do anything to achieve her goal. While the young men prepare for their expedition, they also regularly go out in the evenings in jazz clubs and when the young men finally leave, it is very difficult to say goodbye.
